Our Last Confession
At first I believed that I was invincible. Then I realized I had to make a decision. To either be a black widow amongst thieves or a tiring sheep amongst wolves. This space is a lonely Ghost if given the chance, we'll watch it spin out of control. Constructing our lives, into the hands of many, faces along regret, the fields are drenched in blood and we watch them burn. So stay awake, what a night we have ahead for us. Something that should of died so long ago is blocking the path to the light. Now on this horizon these shadows cast far along the sea, where people can see thousands of skeletons on their knees, hands shaped like triangles, they pray as it became too late for them. They pray and we cry, now the flames have reached taller than the lights. All I wanted was for the Heavens to open wide, so subtle to this disaster. I'm being pulled towards the sky I glance back looking down on this land that I once walked. And what I see isn't so subtle anymore "Every one is burning in the lake of fire." Tears rain down from the Heavens and nothing was ever the same.
